It’s on me to share my experience on Death Row, and to give people a better understanding of life on The Row.
I’m very thankful for the people that have shown interest in the Death Penalty, who aren’t directly affected by it. It’s easy to focus on the things that directly affect us- as we should of course. Sometimes we have a hard time even doing that.
I’ve met some amazing people over the years, including the people that made this blog possible.
From David and his friends on this blog, we wanted to address the subject of the victims and loved ones of people on Death Row directly.
In supporting David to create this blog, ourselves and David are very aware of hurting people affected by anything that has led to people being on Death Row. We worried about this and continue to be mindful of other people's suffering. We all have families and cannot imagine the suffering you have gone through and continue to go through.
Nothing that we publish is intended in any way to undermine this.
We simply want to draw attention to the injustices of the death penalty system as it stands, and we are doing this through the experiences of one person we know well.
Everyone suffers and we don't want one person's suffering to cancel out another.
We hope you understand.
